Oracle acquired storage engine provider InnoDB in a deal last year that raised concerns about whether Oracle was moving to crush MySQL by owning a key part of MySQL’s architecture. The Oracle partnership will last for “several years” Mickos said. “We are happy to see InnoDB continue to be one of the family. MySQL though is not investing too much faith in Oracle’s goodwill over the long term. Mickos unveiled a program to certify storage engines for use with MySQL.

Should the repository be locked off or left open? Should spent fuel rods be reprocessed to remove fissile uranium and plutonium? When does it become acceptable to cart large quantities of waste around the country?And at any stage the waste management issue can become entangled – as it is just now – with the thornier question of building new nuclear facilities. No quick fixCoRWM acknowledges that other countries are moving faster. Finland is heading for a mere 20-year gap between deciding on deep disposal and seeing the first canisters buried.

The Mac manufacturer said on April 5 that it will preview its new Mac OS X 10. 5 dubbed Leopard at its Worldwide Developers Conference in August. But the company has yet to reference a Leopard server edition. Nor has it hinted about any plans it might have to move its Xserve server line to Intel processors from the PowerPC under its June 2005 decree to move from PowerPC chips to Intel processors by June 2007. Despite saying it will preview Leopard Apple has a well-known penchant for keeping the details on its new products under wraps before making grand announcements in front of large audiences. Given the fact that their machines are business-critical most server makers typically notify customers in advance of any changes to their products.

At this time for opening remarks and introductions I would like to turn the call over to your host Mr. DAVE MEADOR CFO EVP DTE ENERGY COMPANY: Thank you. Good morning everybody welcome to our first quarter conference call. I encourage you to read the Safe Harbor statement on page 2 of our presentation which is on our website regarding regarding forward-looking statements. And I am going to start on page 3. With me today is Nick Khouri our Vice President and Treasurer and Peter Oleksiak our Corporate Controller… 37 and the nonutility segments at $0. 42 fuel transportation and marketing was the biggest nonutility contributor driven by the accounting timing flow back that we outlined in the year end call. Moving on to page 6 where we can see each segment’s performance year-over-year we’ll be going over each segment in more detail on the following pages. Overall earnings are up 17 million including synfuel an increase of 45 million when you exclude synfuel. As indicated on the previous page fuel transportation and marketing is a significant contributor to the quarter-over-quarter increase for the first quarter withdrawal of gas storage. Let us continue on to slide 7 and go through some details beginning with Detroit Edison. The key driver for our electric utility was the residential rate cap expiring this year.
