Sun Microsystems Inc. has changed its mind about the former StorageTechnology campus in Louisville and now plans to completely vacate the390-acre property and sell it by the end of next summer. Sun expects to start moving its Louisville work force to its campusin Broomfield’s Interlocken business park as early as April, a decisionwith major economic ramifications for Louisville. The timeline for the relocation – more sweeping and faster thanpreviously known – was made public Tuesday during the computer networkand server company’s quarterly discussion with Wall Streetanalysts. “The Louisville, Colo. , campus is for sale. We have a plan to vacatethat campus as well in the next nine to 12 months,” said Mike Lehman,Sun’s chief financial officer.
