Falcon also has received Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approval to charge market-based rates for the services NorTex provides from its Worsham-Steed Gas Storage Facility, which will interconnect with the Worsham-Steed Pipeline. Traversing through Jack, Parker and Hood counties, the Worsham-Steed Pipeline will have an initial capacity of 450,000 Mcfd, expandable to 650,000 Mcfd. Construction, begun the week of May 21, is scheduled to be completed in August with service to start.
