16 per fully diluted share on revenues of $146. 3 million in the third quarter. Moving to the segments our construction services revenues declined primarily in the specialty market with the completion of the Gulf Coast LNG project in the last fiscal year. In addition the above ground storage tank as well as downstream petroleum markets experienced a slowdown due to the project cancellations and deferrals as our customers managed their capital spending plans in response to the challenging economic environment. This segment did benefit from stronger revenues in the electrical and instrumentation market as a result of continued organic growth and the acquisition of SM Electric in the quarter. ur repair and maintenance services segment revenues increased in the third quarter compared to last fiscal year as a result of continued organic growth in the electrical and instrumentation market and the acquisition of SM Electric in the third quarter. We also experienced slightly higher revenues in the downstream petroleum market due to increased turnaround activity specifically in the Northwest.

Coeur d’Alene U-Haul plans $5 million storage building

the large Phoenix-based “do-it-yourself” moving and storage company says it plans to construct a more than $5 million self-storage building in Coeur d’Alene at the location of its U-Haul Moving Center there at 750 W. Appleway during its next fiscal year which starts in April. Carlos Vizcarra president of Amerco Real Estate Co. a subsidiary of U-Haul’s parent company Reno Nev. -based Amerco says the building will have 62000 square feet of floor sp.

Corporate counsel often issues a blanket order for IT to save everything — email files or databases — for a specific time period and most companies have traditionally used tape to preserve the data. The problems begin when organizations save too much data for longer than they need to keep it and that data is inaccessible or very expensive to find on tape. At that point moving to disk-based backup is critical Babineau said. “Electronic discovery has provided another catalyst to go to.

T) said on Wednesday it is ready to start atest project for injecting carbon dioxide from industrialoperations into briny underground water reservoirs in Alberta. The 38-company Alberta Saline Aquifer Project said it ismoving ahead with the second of three phases identifying theWabamun region west of Edmonton as a prime location for a C$30million to C$50 million ($24 million to $40 million) pilotproject. Several coal-fired power plants are located in that area ofthe Western Canadian province. Pending funding and regulatory approvals the consortiumwill test technologies for injecting carbon dioxide into deepsaline aquifers until as late as 2015 before moving ahead witha full-scale commercial development worth as much as C$200million. ther members of the group include such companies as BP Plc(.

HIPAA Security: A Moving Target?

Remote storage protectionsEvery office with PHI must consider real-time or at least some remote storage of PHI data either through incremental backups storage area networks or mirrored servers. Two of our SQL Server-based clients are using a national integrated system to allow each of their individual co-locations to allow mirrored (and some clustered) backups. Additional storage at the co-locations and increased bandwidth for a 160-gigabyte database (included DICM and scanned medical records) cost less than $250 a month. Surely someone somewhere is using the same billing system for their EHR as you are and has RAID 5 or 10 mirrored clustered servers. Inquire whether such a facility would allow you to write a back-up data set to their system. Rice is CE of I-Med LLC an Atlanta-based company.

Its belief is that its server or storage controller PCI-e-connected SSD storage can replace networked storage arrays for storing data needing very low latency access. 5TB and 4TB SSD demonstrations have been run with HP and IBM these are like world speed records on the Bonneville salt flats. rdinary storage applications will use very much less SSD storage than that because the cost per GB is so very much higher than disk storage. Nevertheless the SSD-HDD transition point is moving more and more into the high speed HDD space as NAND costs come down.

Users can enable this option witha single click without losing access to their data Barrall said. When it runsout of capacity customers can switch back to single-disk redundancy with asingle click. Unlike moving between RAID 5 and RAID 6 there’s no need toreformat or migrate data off the array Barrall said. This allows users to create new volumes in seconds andmanage 16TB volumes. Smart Volume allows storage to be pulled from the commonpool of disks rather than a specific physical disk allocation. The labor ofresizing and migrating volumes is replaced with the simplicity of intelligentengineering Barrall said.
