Court enforces cease and desist order against All My Sons Moving …

– Thurston County Superior Court handed consumers a victory today by signing a consent decree preventing a Kent-based residential moving company from doing business in Washington state. Under the consent decree All My Sons Moving and Storage of Seattle Inc. (All My Sons Seattle) may not conduct an in-state residential moving business. The company is also enjoined from using advertisements including Web sites to promote in-state residential moving services within Washington. In February the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC) asked the court to enforce a November 2008 UTC order against All My Sons Seattle that canceled the company’s permit to operate an in-state moving business and ordered the carrier to cease and desist providing in-state moving.
